AHJ Mission Choir was founded in July 2020 as a joint effort between the Hong Kong Association of Christian Music Ministry Ltd. (ACM) and the Hong Kong Church Music Service Limited (HKCMS). Its mission is to connect brothers and sisters in various churches throughout Hong Kong who are willing to serve through mixed-chorus singing, to offer God their praises. Since its inception, the choir has performed Music Evangelistic Events over 60 times in different churches and organizations.

The choir's founding and current conductor is Mr. Kester Yim Kai Chuen, who has over 40 years of choir conducting experience. Mr. Yim's unique conducting style is precise and captivating, prompting and leading the large choir to reach its full potential. Accompaniment is provided by Miss Katherine Chung Ka Ying, a graduate of the Piano Performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, who also obtained FRSM in piano and gained Distinction in both LTCL and ATCL Piano Recital Diploma. Mr. Yim and Miss Chung have developed into a formidable partnership.

This year’s concert - "Abbandonatamente" marks AHJ Mission Choir's fifth annual concert and its sixth anniversary, a significant milestone. The purpose of the choir is to sing continuously, offering our best and most beautiful singing to our Eternal God, expressing the beauty of music and the freedom and leisure it brings.
